Firefox on Android freezes completely whenever I open multiple tabs.

Steps to reproduce:

Open the Firefox app on my phone.

Open a website in one tab.

Open a second or third tab and try to switch between them or browse.

Observed result:

The browser stops responding, freezes, and fails to load or switch tabs smoothly.

Expected result:

The browser should handle opening and switching between multiple tabs without freezing or crashing.

I’m using Firefox for Android and would like to understand how APK downloads work in the mobile browser. Is it possible to download a BeeTV APK file through Firefox and then install it on a compatible Android device?

I’d also like to know whether Firefox has any settings or security features I should check before downloading APK files from third-party websites.

Any advice or tips from other Firefox Android users would be appreciated. Thanks!

Firefox has always been my primary search engine. However Google recently took control of my phone, my apps changing my search engine to Google and blocking my access to Firefox all apps, downloads and searches. Please help to retain Firefox

Hi, I'm using Firefox on Android.

Problem: [what happens, e.g. YouTube videos are choppy and the page freezes] When: [always / only on some sites / started after an update] Tried: [restarted Firefox, cleared cache, updated the app, etc.]

Phone model: [e.g. Samsung Galaxy A14] Android version: [Settings > About phone] Firefox version: [Firefox menu > Settings > About Firefox]

I need to be able to switch the immediate function of tapping the url header back to how it was. I shouldn't have to tap another button to view, copy, and/or edit the url.

When I try to open some links, Firefox gives me the option to "Always open links on apps".

This needs to be fixed. Instead of the option to Always open links in apps, it should be changed to always open links of that type in the external app. I may want torrent links to open in external apps, but maybe I don't want Reddit to automatically do the same thing.

Difficulty viewing my Firefox bookmarks page.

Summary: I want to launch a new tab, • open my bookmarks, • select one of my bookmarks and go there. Details: My device is a Samsung Android phone running the latest Firefox browser. I start by click the plus (+) on Firefox top menu bar. Firefox opens a new blank tab. The problem is the 3 dot vertical menu is gone. It's replaced by a camera icon. I use the 3 dot vertical menu button to drill down and access my bookmarks page. Is there a different way to open my bookmarks page that I should know about?
