Why does Firefox refuse to allow me to sign in at Yahoo.com? Every time I click sign in a new blank window appears and no login???????
Whenever I am on yahoo.com and I click sign in to sign in to the site. Firefox opens and new blank window but never, never loads the sign-in screen. WHY?????!!!!!
I have been a user of Firefox for a long, long, time, but this is frustrating to the point of never using firefox again!
Chosen solution
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.
- Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0
- Shockwave Flash 11.4 r402
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove all (older) version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and (re)install the latest Flash player.
