Error completing top-of-web page tabs Ancestry.com & requires scrolling to get to needed search window.
Ancestry.com has a search window in the third level tabs bar. That search window allows the user to "find a person in this tree." What is happening is that regardless what size I select for viewing, there are several tabs which belong in the second level tabs bar which have dropped to the third level tabs bar, displacing the "find a person" window tab. It never returns to the proper level. Thus I must always always always scroll to the right to access the "find a person" search tab.
The spacing this problem suggests to me is also manifest when attempting to add records to a particular family member. It does so by taking the entire image and loading it at dead center, thus losing all comparative info in the right side of the image. It simply falls off the page. There is no way to scroll out to it, even.
I've been using Firefox with Ancestry for 3 years without major problems which seems unfixable. This has proven impossible thus far. Can anyone help?
BTW, I have a "SNIP" of the comparative windows between Firefox and IE to share which illustrates the problems.

An error like that can be caused by a missing clear div or other clearing element with a clear:both CSS rule in combination with floating content.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with overlapping text.

Got'cha, Nathan! Will do!
Here's an illustration of the Firefox vs. IE view of Ancestry.com heading . Note that IE displays the "search family" window in the proper level three row and within their outlined area, rather than the Firefox display with the tiny left hand end of it outside the outlined Ancest.com heading area. Note also that Firefox has moved ummm 3 or 4 tabs from level 2 to level 3.
Then . . . with the second image you'll see the IE proper display of "hints" search results. The researcher is to select which hints to add, etc. etc. etc. But with image three you'll note that Firefox has slammed the entire results to the right of center, displaying only the results, with the proposed ancestor section outside of the viewable area. Note, however, that it IS there, just not viewable.
I had no problems prior to the most recent Firefox update. It all displayed properly. And . . . the Firefox presentation here was taken after I reset Firefox without addons.
Geez, I hope this all makes sense.
Linda
P.S. Note also that I spoke with Ancestry.com help folks earlier today and they were stumped, saying that they would be contacting Firefox to try to learn more about possible problem and solution

Perfect, Cor-el! Resolved. Simple solution, worked perfectly. Thank-you very much.
Let me play with them a bit. I do have several questions, but let me noodle around with some of the changes to see what happens outside of the problem I presented.
Both the "family search" window and the "hints" display now work as expected and as they used to. Again, thank-you!
Best, Linda
