In order to run Firefox 5 you must have Mac OSX versions 10.5,10.6, or 10.7. You could run Firefox 3.6 on your Mac that is still supported and will be supported for a while until most people make the move to Firefox 5. You can download Firefox 3.6 from this page http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html .
