why cant i get firefox to stay on my set home page it keep going back to bearshare thats not even on my pc

my home page has always been set on yahoo and for some reason no matter what i do when i shut it down and start it back up it goes back to bearshare it's set as yahoo in windows and i can set to yahoo through tools option general but as soon as i close and restart it it goes back to bearshare
