How can I go back to 3.6. It seems like I have had minor problems since downloaded 42r (?)

I downloaded 4.0, but the icon on my desktop had the Mozilla logo and 42r (forty-two and R in lower case). I just want to go back to 3.6 can I do that?

I see that others have had this problem. Some kind soul left instructions to re-download FF 3.6.16 and a link!
