Hello,
First, Firefox built in VPN available in these countries only : Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Chile Colombia Denmark Finland France Germany Ireland Italy Japan Malaysia Mexico Netherlands New Zealand Norway Poland Portugal Singapore South Africa Spain Sweden Switzerland Thailand United Kingdom United States
If your country is one of them, continue. Click the VPN icon, click Get started in the prompt that appears, then sign in. after that, open the VPN panel and toggle the Turn on VPN switch.
If the icon is missing, you can force enable the icon. First, go to settings > privacy & security (or Permissions and data), make sure Allow Firefox to improve features, performance, and stability between updates is checked.
Next, you can force enable the icon by going to about:config, accept the warning (use at own discretion) and search for browser.ipProtection.enabled or browser.vpn_ip_protection and double click to change its value to true.
