password not working, I have made NO changes, the password held by Thunderbird is correct
I have made no changes to the PC or mail midway through the day it suddenly said input password, the password is correct, but I get incorrect password message. The password works using browser mode.

It was a corrupt password json file, mail.com is the provider

If it worked before, and no changes have been made, the problem is probably external to thunderbird, such as an outage with the email provider. I have seen this twice today with other users.
Who is the mail provider?
You recently updated to version 148?
If so, pllease tell us, does something in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-yahoo help?
