Signature disappears
Hi,
On Thunderbird 140.4.0esr (64-bit) and on 144.0.1 (64-bit) both WIN11 I have this problem since yesterday:
New message Signature is shown
I add the To: To: xyz@com.com
Signature disappears, mail is sent and received without signature
The signature which I use "since many years" is HTML
As you know there has been an update on WIN11 yesterday...
Any hints?

Hi Bob, if you use the Signature Switch add-on, this may be related. Try disabling the add-on. See my other post in the forum. I've emailed the developer to give them a heads-up.

I did it and it solved the problem !
Btw my colleagues who don't have signature switch, didn't have the problem..
Great that you informed the developer too - let's wait that they fix the bug

I turned off Signature Switch and it appeared to solve the problem.
I then tested by turning Signature Switch back on, and it seemed the problem stayed solved.
Perhaps other users could try this and see if it is co-incidence or a real solution.

Hi Roger, That's weird... I enabeld signature switch again, closed Thunberbird, started Thunderbird
Now everything seems to work so far now...

Maybe SS was automatically updated to the Oct. 17 version when TB restarted.

Looking at the configuration of Signature Switch Addon, I'm seeing things I've never seen before. Looks like it's been rebuilt, and needs reconfiguring. And lots of new goodies! :)
