Unable to add a third email account to my laptop, even though I have it on my desktop.
My problem has escalated. Before, I wasn't able to fix the constant request for password on that account. Now, after deleting the account on my laptop, I can't even add it back. Error message says "incoming server already exists." I do have another email account with the same domain, but this is not a problem on my desktop computer, only on my laptop. (It used to work find on my laptop, too, but it stopped receiving emails on 8/20/)

Your account did not work and you deleted it and now you are saying it has escalated. It has not, it remains unchanged from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1540762
I will close this duplicate topic and suggest you continue the discussion in your earlier topic. Perhaps restart that conversation with some useful information. See Below.
Before, I wasn't able to fix the constant request for password on that account. Now, after deleting the account on my laptop, I can't even add it back.and a not working account and this is different exactly how. It is the same thing your account did not work and you appear to think trying to add it again with exactly the same settings is somehow going to fix it. Nothing is less likely so now you have no account to fix. Wonderful.
Error message says "incoming server already exists."\
That will be the outgoing server (SMTP) for the account you removed. That has to be removed separately.
I do have another email account with the same domain, but this is not a problem on my desktop computer, only on my laptop. (It used to work find on my laptop, too, but it stopped receiving emails on 8/20/)
When it stopped is somewhat irrelevant except to check things like the windows update log for changes on that date.
