Number of tabs

In the current version of Firefox, if (which is very rare) I go and open more than 17 tabs, some go off the one end of the top of the screen, and I must scroll over to find them. If I remember, on a very old version it was either 15 or 11 tabs before that happened.

Is there a way for me to change the 'limit number of tabs before they go off the end'? I would rather like to do that, but I have not found how. I would be most grateful if you can help.

Thanks,

Peter

Chosen solution

You can possibly reduce the minimum tab width via the browser.tabs.tabMinWidth pref on the about:config page. Note that the minimum is clamped to 50, so you can't go below this 50 value.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".
