What are your smtp settings? mail.iinet.net.au on 465, SSL/TLS, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address What errors are shown when you send, and what is the antivirus?

https://www.getmailbird.com/setup/access-iinet-net-au-via-imap-smtp

You can also try port 587, STARTTLS security.

https://help.iinet.net.au/email-setup-thunderbird

I use Malwarebytes and have been using it for years.

This is a new problem When I use 587 port / STARTTLS, I get Alert Problem , with the other problem with the other setting

Just changed to your settings as per email and I have attached problem that comes up now.

Regards and thanks

Kevin

`I was look around and found this thread as whirlpool. https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/32k8xnv9

The short of it is suggesting iinet/westnet have not got a proper handle on IPV6 particularly in relation to email. So I suggest modifying your network adapter settings in Windows to only use IPV4 and see if that helps. If it does further exploration will probably be worthwhile. If it does not turn it back on.
