thunderbird 52.5.2 windows 7 can't access calendar

I updated Thunderbird to 52.5.2. I'm running windows 7 pro. I am not getting events and tasks reminders, and I don't see a way to access the calendar and events.

Chosen solution

Go to the add-ons tab Click Extensions Do you see Lightning listed?

Is it disabled?

If not there type lightning in the search box and install it. If disabled, enable it.

I installed lightning and that fixed the problem. All of my entries were there. Many thanks!
