This morning Thunderbird updated. version 52.5.2. Since then my calendar and events have gone. I have tried installing lightning again but this hasn't worked. I can't even create new events. Please can you help? I have lost a lot of important information.

Is Lightning installed and enabled? Look on the Add-ons tab under Extensions.
