Firefox fails to load videos in Netflix, or my pages in Wunderlist, and failed again shortly after a refresh--is there anything I can do?

Largely as my too-long title states. I started having trouble with Netfix, and went through several of their suggestions. Eventually Wunderlist stopped loading. Netflix support believed that this was some of the stored data being corrupted, and recommended a refresh. I did this, and both sites began functioning again. Today, Wunderlist failed again. Have not yet tried Netflix. So a refresh is not a long -term solution, and not something I'm willing to do every 2-3 days. Is there some other way to actually determine what's going on, and addressing this?

I would first get rid of the extra installation of Flash, it looks like it is listed twice in your list of extensions.

Second, try starting Firefox in Safe Mode, this will start Firefox without addons or hardware acceleration. Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox

Was there a difference with wunderlust?

In searching for a way to get rid of that extra flash installation, the only things I found that mentioned it in the past confirm my experience that there is basically nothing to be done about it! There is no obvious way to remove an extension in my add-ons manager.

It's an old version, and the second one was created when attempting to update it.

The most I can do it make set it to never activate; and set the up-to-date one as ask to activate. Which is how it was before the refresh; oddly, both were 'ask to activate' post the refresh, but I corrected this.

So if there is some way to get rid of the second one, please point me at it!

Thanks for your attention.

Welp. It seems it always goes to 'ask to activate' after I set it to 'never activate', and close it. Fun.
