The "mozilla Firefox Start page" is taking over my home page--How can i stop this. Version 44.0.02 is the first one to do this. WHY!!!- Can I get ride of it?
This page always takes over my home page on version 44.0.2--All other version were fine till this one. I set my home page but no matter what the "mozilla firefox start page " always comes back. I am just about ready to get ride of firefoax and go back to safari. This may be a simple fix but I can't fix it

What is the URL of that page?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
