Whenever I attempt to download waiting emails I frequently get the message: "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server mailhost.zen.co.uk responded: Mailbox unavailable." This is a relatively recent occurrance - what can I do to resolve it?

what frequency do you have set in account settings for checking mail? If it is less than 15 minutes try changing it to that.
