When I create a new e-mail or reply to one that I have received I am able to type in all fields, but there is no "Send" button to the left of the "From", "To", and "Subject" fields.
I can work around this by clicking "File...Send Now", but that is very inconvenient when I am sending many e-mails.
This is a new thing. The 2 devices (laptop and Kindle) have always synced my Outlook emails. New today. Can be fixed I'm sure but don't know where to start. Thanks! … (lire la suite)

I´ve been having a problem with thunderbird for a while now and today took the time to do the troubleshoot and checked all the account settings. no firewall, no add ons Researching the problem i came across the incompability of different TLS standards. Apparently when thunderbird updated to 78.0 in 2020 a lot of people had the same problem and solved it by downgrading . Since this problem came on suddenly, possibly when thunderbird upgraded automatically, and it only applys to select emails (about half) I guess different TLS standards, some of which are no longer supported by thunderbird, are the reason for this. If i log in to my mailaccount I can see all the emails, same goes for my mobile devices. That´s how i know thunderbird doesn´t display all the messages. My question: Did anyone else encounter this problem? Did I analize this correctly or did I overlook something? I don´t want to change to another provider. I always liked thunderbird for being simple and clean. But downgrading won´t be a sustainable solution either I guess. Thanx for your help. Have a nice day.

Today when I started Thunderbird two of my email accounts are Highlighted in RED with a RED Triangle at the end of the email address.
Both accounts are from Spectrum. My other email accounts from another provider are OKAY.
I am not able to retrieve or send emails on these two accounts. I can get my emails from both accounts when I use Spectrum Webmail. So it looks like the account information is correct.
How do I fix this?

I have a desktop that is windows 10. I use Mozilla for four email accounts, 3 of my accounts work fine. My problem is with TWC. Emails sent/forward and cant save drafts often fail. When I sign into spectrum webmail, my Mozilla TWC account works again for a while. This started about 2 weeks ago. I'm using version firefox version 151.0.2. I've eliminated Spectrum as being the issue and all my settings are correct. Thoughts?

Sometimes minutes, so I have to go through several verification attempts. The primary email account is gmail. My ISP is comcast.net. I don't know if this matters, because slow Get Messages is recent. At the beginning I see some message disappear (moved from inbox to the folder but never show in the folder) then following some advises I made a Repair Folder, then all messages in the folder disappear.
As you can see, on the gmail picture there is 114 emails in this folder, in the Thunderbird picture it count only 7 and display none.
Please any one have a solution ?

A few months ago I posted a question on these message boards after losing my ability to receive, send or even review messages/e-mails. For 3 months I was unable to access my e-mail. And I'm not certain hoe they are related, but after a hard drive failure, The only files that could be seen on the hard drive was a file folder labelled Wondershare. I downloaded a Wondershare program (Recoverit) after all my archived messages were wiped from my computer as this was the recommendation from members on the open threads at Mozilla.
While I appreciated the help from the members of this community, Thunderbird has again destroyed my ability to access any e-mails. The Thunderbird program is telling me that the settings that it took me 3 months to finally sort out are no longer operative.
Total garbage, I am not an experienced computer user, and would never have signed up for Thunderbird had I known this platform had no customer support and prone to these sort of failures.
Can anyone help me open my e-mails and move them to a program where I don't have to put up with such nonsense?

However, the new identity does not appear in Thunderbird, where the others are. The address is not recognized, and does not receive emails. I feel like I have missed a fundamental step but have followed the help instructions & cannot see what I am doing wrong. Ive checked and the program is up to date. Operating system Windows 10. I have Thunderbird installed on three computers. Two on Windows 10 and one on Windows 11. I have two accounts Helen and Kevin. I have no problems with my Kevin account on the there computers. The error only occures with my Helen account and only on the Windows 10 computers. Not the Windows 11 computer. Can you fix this?

I recovered most of my emails from the All Mail folder but wonder what caused the problem so I don't see it again.
