Different computer systems may not be compatible as to copying files. You would be better off using sync.

Yes, what FredMcD said is very important and syncing can be much easier and quicker.

Hello, unfortunately that doesn't solve my problem at the moment! I need the Firefox bookmarks from an iMac with defective graphics so that Firefox can no longer be started! However, I was able to copy the Firefox folder from the iMac's hard drive to my Windows 10 laptop. Now I am looking for the corresponding file to import into Firefox on the Windows 10 laptop!
