I use Proton email, but considering the latest revelations from the leadership at Proton and their treatment of employees I am looking for an alternative. Does the Thunderbird team rely on AI for coding? If they do rely on AI is it checked by a person before being used? It seems Proton is satisfied with letting AI code with minimal or no checking by a human.

We are only volunteers here, not developers, but I am aware of extensive testing which indicates that real persons write the code. And a browsing of bugzilla.org will show intensive consideration of the code. I encourage you to spend some time there. Thank you
