Is that system notifications, that look like this? Web Push notifications in Firefox

The article has a section on revoking any previously granted permissions to sites to send these: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox#w_how-do-i-revoke-the-notifications-permission-for-a-specific-site
