I've got Thunderbird 150 on a new laptop. I really miss the "message preview" option. How can I get it back?
I've got a new laptop and installed Thunderbird 150 on it. I'm so disappointed that the "Message Preview" option is missing. I really depended on that. How can I get it on this new version of Thunderbird?
Chosen solution
There's no feature officially called "message preview", so I'm guessing you're referring to either "Cards View", where you see short sample of the message in the list of messages, or the Message View pane. Here's an article about various layout options, including Table View vs. Cards View.
The Message View pane can be revealed from menu option <View | Layout | Message Pane>, or by pressing the F8 key.
Is that what you were looking for?

It worked! So, I can see a preview of the message content but it's so different from what I'm used to. The layout on this new version is not much to my liking. Thank you for helping me, and so quickly!
Then experiment a bit with the view>layout menu
