Gmail All Mail shows in Thunderbird but 3,900 messages are misising

If I look at my GMAIL email from the GMAIL program on my WIN10 desktop, or on my smartphone - that is using the native GMAIL program / app - I see 4,000 emails.

But if I look at my GMAIL messages in Thunderbird, I see only 92 messages.

In Thunderbird I've progressed from File -> Subscribe -> and checked All Mail but I still only have 92 messages.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

BTW - until a few days ago, everything showed. I haven't done anything knowingly - 3,900 All Mail messages just disappeared.
