I am facing a very unusual issue - bordering on spooky, really. This relates to my company's email accounts. I function as the admin for my company. We have subscribed to GoDaddy's email service. Our website is also hosted on GoDaddy. Emails from a colleague never reach me. We both use Thunderbird. However, her Thunderbird runs in the Ubuntu environment and mine in Windows. If she sends me a mail from her cellphone (AnyMail client) or using the Roundcube web client, I receive it without any issues. However, if she sends the mail from her laptop (Ubuntu / TB), it does not reach me or anyone else on our common domain. Outsiders (people on other domains) receive her mails quite fine. When I send emails to her from my Windows machine (TB client), she gets them alright too. I have been racking my brain for over three months to come up with a logical explanation for this, to no avail. If a logic can be found, the solution is just a question of time. Anyone helps me in this will become eligible for a dozen pints of the best ale money can buy. Thanks in advance. Sagar

If there is no error message when she sends then this sounds as if the emails are sent but some spam detection software is sending them to a Junk/Spam folder or godaddy server not allowing that IP address of her computer.

If someone has another non domain email address, she could send an email and you could see what IP addresses are being applied.

Can she send emails to herself on same domain/email address ?

Thanks for the explanation. We have not tried the last test you listed. We'll try that and post the result. Also, I'll install another mail client on her machine and check whether she can send out mails from that other client and post that result as well. Much obliged. Cheers.
