Win7 Update 19 Feb. FF34 unusable. Cannot update even.
Lennovo T410S, Win7 Pro. FF34/35 - Google & Flash disabled. MS "critical update" occured 20 Feb 1200 GMT (claimed date 19th 1600 GMT) FF 34.05 portable became unsuable. icon stuck, displaying "not responding" thereafter.
Given the only recourse is to update FF - how to with FF not responding? I do have FF35 on the PC, but there are unresolved issues with the debugger (believe!), hence reliance on FF 34.
A side issue if the recovery of the password file on the ext HDD. No I don't want to "sync". I work off-line a lot and devlop websites that way.
A file name is a start. To debug JavaScript I can struggle with FF35 or there is always Chrome and IE11.

Sorry we support Firefox from Mozilla here. The portable is based on Mozilla Firefox you should also be using Fx35 on portable. They have there own support sites.
As a website developer you may also be interested in trying Firefox ESR as your customers or website viewers may use that. It is also available from portable.
Probably more practical than testing on the unsupported, outdated and insecure Fx34. Also be aware of Firefox Developer (Aurora channel rebranded) and note that by default installs as an additional browser with its on profile.

I was going to ask what the Fx35 issue is but note you have already posted
No idea if it will be relevant to your work but I did stumble upon this
I also note Lenovo has been making headlines because of Superfish.
