Over the past few weeks, I have been having a lot of trouble signing on to my ETrade account on Firefox but have no trouble doing so on Microsoft Edge.

Seems more of a change in their logic or deployment — perhaps if you follow support.mozilla.org/questions/1590616 where the user reported success with disabling Enhanced Tracking Protections unblocking the site for them to see if it helps your case too?
