Recover bookmarks from external hdd

Hi there,

I just moved to another notebook after the past one dead, and I have to recover my past bookmarks from an external hdd. I just tried to convert the .json file into an .html one, but the problem is that with this way I have to manually reput on the library thousands of websites by clicking the link, while I'm looking for an option to automatically put all the websites in the library. Is it possible to do so?

You can copy places.sqlite from the profile on the old hard drive to the current profile folder. This file stores bookmarks and history. If you already created new bookmarks the export the bookmarks to an HTML file and re-import the bookmarks. Restoring a JSON replaces all bookmarks as well.
