Suddenly I cannot upload images larger than 450 KB into either of two different auction apps. I have used these for years with no problem.
I have used Firefox and these apps for years with no problem.Even if two images total more than 450 KB they will not load. If I switch over to Explorer there is no trouble and I can load large images. What is restricting it in Firefox?

It is possible that your anti-virus software blocking the file upload.
So you can check the settings in your anti-virus software software or temporarily disable it to see if that works.
Thanks for the suggestions. Tried them all. Unfortunately no change? What is most frustrating is that I have not (knowingly) made any changes to my system - one day everything is fine next day it is not?
Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Using ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
