Hola! Tengo un problema desde hace unos días: tras la última actualización, Thunderbird me pide que reinicie el equipo para poder utilizarlo. Lo he reiniciado ya cuatro o cinco veces y me lo sigue pidiendo. No puedo ni instalar manualmente otra actualización ni desinstalarlo, porque me pide igualmente que reinicie para completar la actualización anterior, y no sé qué hacer para solucionar el problema. I've tried to install Thunderbird on my dad's Dell workstation (Xeon processor, 16 Gb RAM, Win10 Pro, don't have the full specs with me). After an apparently successful installation, Thunderbird tries to open multiple tabs, literally about a hundred or more. Checking Windows processes, I saw it swallowed about 8.8 Gb of RAM!

I had to 'k1ll' Thunderbird and then uninstalled it. I prefer Thunderbird over MS Outlook, since last one does not work properly with the internet Prodigy service, and Thunderbird has a neat, simpler and handy design (like early 2000s Windows apps).

What would be going wrong? A required library, perhaps?

I'll later try to get some screenshots from his PC, if required.

Sería interesante tener disponible Firefox en FDroid y deshacerse de la tiranía de google. Es una contradicción presentar a Firefox como el navegador que más cuida por nuestra privacidad si para obtenerlo le tengo que dejar hasta los datos de mis calzoncillos a google.

Firefox antes era bastante bueno ahora es de muy mala calidad, a que se debe de que antes podias anclar los complementos y ahora no?

lo peor de todo es que al reiniciar la computadora cuando abri firefox me elimino todos los complementos, quiero usar el blockeador de anuncios y ya no funciona con el nuevo sistema malisimo de firefox, ahora tendre que cambiar a chrome que esta mil veces mejor.

Hi! I was using Firefox installed on unit C: (Win 11 64bits). Now, I have uninstalled the firefox and then Im trying to install it in another unit in the same PC, but the installer detects that it was installed previosly and doesn´t offer the option to choose de unit. I would like to install it on the new unit and conserve all of my data but moved to the SSD. Could you tell me how can I do that step by step? Thanks in advance.
