Hello, when I click on link with middle mouse button it will open that link on next tab but doesn't "jump" there, which is fine. But when I do the same with pdf links, it will automaticly "jumps" on the pfd file. And I don't want to. I want to open it like normal link (on next tab in background), because I have a lot of pdf files to open, and this makes it difficult to do it qucikly. Before some weeks this wasn't a probem, it started now.

You can't disable firefox spell checking. Check your spelling as you type. Misconfiguration? Did you make a mistake somewhere? I'm not sure. I mainly use two types of IME, Microsoft IME and google Japanese input.

When i click on a tab, if I am not perfectly steady at the time of the click, Firefox opens the tab in a new windows. It happens several times a day, it's quite annoying. Searching for solutions in the support page, I've found that there was an add-on to disable this function, but now it's not available anymore. Is there a solution in 2024?

I have recently bought a new laptop and installed Firefox, which I have been using for a long time. After signing into my Firefox account, everything synced over to my new Firefox account, apart from the colorways theme that I chose with the Firefox 94 update - mine is "Foto - Soft". Is there any way that I can get this theme on my newly installed version of Firefox? Thanks.

hello there , I am posting this question for the second time since I can't see the previous one anywhere. Can someone help me with css to customize the New Tab top-sites(shortcuts) labels. I would like to change the font-size and color of the labels. My previous userContent.css does not work since FF94. Hope there is a way. look4

FF is fully updated. I use the dark theme, no issues up til now. Suddenly text in certain sections of my browsing is dark. I've tried changing themes, using system colors and not, nothing fixes it. I just want to be able to read all the text on my page again. See images for what I'm referring to. Any help is appreciated. Ff version 104.0.2 (64-bit) Windows 10

When I put the pointer arrow on a tab to open it the tab background turns black and the type is white. It used to be the opposite and I want to change it back to white background black type. How do I do that? I do not like this change at all. This happened right after your new Firefox update also.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. I hardly use tabs, and I have a widescreen notebook. So one of the most important features a browser must have is not to waste vertical space.

Unfortunately, Firefefox still has always tab bar open even if there is only one tab.

There was a css code to overcome this problem. Unfortunately, it does not work with FF 106 anymore (another one stopped working with 103). It always shows a "+" sign and uses vertical space.

1. ) How can I get rid of the tab bar? Is there a working css code or is it a feature now of FF? 2.) BTW, also one of the most important addons for me "I don't care about cookies" is not working anymore 3.) How can I fully stop updates? They are causing far too many problems 4.) I already know that css and addons are not officially supported by Mozilla.

I use the "Forget" button regularly. Recently, I've noticed that complete browser history (cookies and all) are all being deleted even though only 5 minutes or two hours are selected.

Any others having this issue? Doug

Saved themes in Firefox color not visible in add-ons manager. Does not fix itself in safe mode. One of the saved themes is a default preset I liked, the other is a preset I made myself, using all options except advanced colors.

My employer sent me a link to sign up for an employment planning service. I need to enter my name, DOB and their entry code. The second line is being blocked and I cannot type in it. I need to type their entry code on this line. I have attached a copy of the screenshot. I am not sure what the Mask limit is for this line as it is not a line that I am typing my email address in.

I just installed Firefox 107.0 on a new installation of Linux. I'm trying to get it set up to work the way I'm accustomed to, and can't figure this out. Instead of having search results show up in the current tab, I want them to open in a new tab, as they always have for me. As this works Just Fine on my desktop, I see no reason that it wouldn't work on my new laptop. If anybody here knows, please let me know.

Godaddy does not work at all on Firefox or in private. I had one add on and I disabled it. Godaddy still does not load Godaddy. Shall I simply remove Firefox and reinstall. I've spent 9 days now chasing this problem. Godaddy works fine with Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I no longer want the hassle of Godaddy issue.

My add-on and default profile have disappeared after I entered safe mode. The browser window restarted with a new interface with different settings and all my add-ons were gone. There reason why I tried out safe-mode was to restore my open tabs which were lost after firefox updates but still showing in history without the possibility to restore them. Currently, I have three profiles in about:profiles but non of them contains my add-ons data. They all appeared as if I am opening the browser for the first time. Inside the profiles file explore, there are 5 newly created profiles see attached screenshots.

Things I did, Cleared cache, refreshed the profiles and restart the browser nothing works.

What is going on. :(. This sucks. I had special add-ons which contained my valuable settings and now they are all gone.

Hi. I was just looking at Google Photos on both Firefox and Chrome. Chrome had a bigger picture because the window had only the tabs bar and the address bar, and Firefox has an additional title bar. I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the title bar so the picture on both browsers were the same size?

How do I remove this crap tab list? I don't want that option, Firefox just updated and added it as a fixed function. Honestly it seems that the Firefox development team does not care about the interests of users, currently I need to use 2 browsers because one of them does not have an option to create shortcuts to the sites I frequent
