Hi, I am running Thunderbird v. 115.9.0 on Windows 10 on my desktop. I have been forced by Rogers in Canada to migrate my internet service from their legacy internet service to Rogers Ignite with its Ignite (Comcast) gateway. My email accounts were supposed to be migrated automatically, but, for reasons unknown, were not, and a tech support representative had to migrate them from the old legacy service to Ignite. After that was done, I opened Thunderbird, and was asked to authenticate my 2 Rogers/Yahoo email accounts, one of which is my primary account, the other a secondary account. I was asked to authenticate the secondary account first, which went well. I then clicked on my primary account in the left-hand pane and was again asked to authenticate, but the dialogue box showed it was for the secondary account. Thinking that this secondary account authentication was just being repeated for no particular reason, and not thinking that the email address in the authentication request box could be changed, I clicked Agree. My primary account is now showing the exact same emails as are listed in the secondary account, and I'm extremely concerned that I will not be able to recover all of the thousands of emails in my primary account, many of which are business-related. When I log into my primary account on the Rogers/Yahoo mail website, the emails in the primary account are still showing, so I know they are still on the Rogers IMAP server. However, I really want to continue to use my primary account on Thunderbird. I'm not sure if I should delete the primary account and recreate it - the Rogers support tech said that deleting the account may result in an issue where my current password for a re-created primary account may not be recognized, so I'm leaving things as they are until I hear back. It the advice is to not delete and recreate the account, what steps can I take to recover the emails on my primary account in Thunderbird. My email provider required me to migrate to a new server and advised setting up a new Account in Thunderbird. I did this and it successfully imported most or all of my stored emails from the old server. However, the import only preserved the first level of sub-folders (I have up to 3 levels). If I right-click on my email account in Thunderbird and choose Subscribe, I can still see the sub-folder structure there. Is there any way I can restore it so that it (a) shows the full collection of sub- and sub-sub folders in the tree; and (b) locates the correct emails in each sub-folder? If not, I face days of work to recreate sub-folders and move emails to their correct location. Thanks for any help!

I drag-n-dropped an account (POP3) folder "inbox" to the "Local Folders". How can I return the "inbox" folder back to my account folder ? Drag-n-droping back does not work.

Hi! On the latest version Mozilla Firefox 125.0.1 when i download .docx files i get the message 'File not downloaded: Potential security risk.' I select Allow download and the file downloaded can't be opened.

Prior to update 125.0.1 corporate intranet users could download PDF files from our Line of Business applications / Webpages. Today after the latest update the PDF files download but are corrupted. The site was added to the trusted webpage without improvement.

When I go to update Firefox through the settings > general > firefox updates > check for updates, I am getting the error in the title. I can manually download the app installer and update to the most current version which is what I did for version 125.0.1, yesterday.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, installing the beta branch, refreshing firefox, running in troubleshooting mode, completely deleting all user firefox files, and I still get the error. No DNS resolver issues to the update server. No firewall issues. No network blocking (tested with other devices).

This issue started after March update to 124.0.1 and continues to current stable release 125.0.1.

This issue also seems to extend to checking for extension updates.

Been using Outlook, but am having issues. Decided to try TBird. Got the email part set up (far as I can tell). Calendar and Address book are a different story. Calendar: Using Google Calendar as primary calendar. Consists of an appointment, birthday, and holiday calendars. Created a new calendar and entered the URL for my Google Calendar. It showed up in TBird apparently OK. Created ANOTHER calendar and entered URL for Googles stock Holiday calendar. It also seemed to show up OK. Tried to do what I did with those calendars to add my Birthday Calendar, but Google uses data from Google Contacts to create that calendar. Can't figure how to add that data. HELP? Address book: Exported Google Contacts Data to a CSV file. Tried BOTH Outlook CSV and Google CSV exports. NEITHER produced a CSV file ANYWHERE Close to what TBird appeared to want, based on what showed up on the "fields" page that appeared after I chose the CSV filename. Moving data around in a spreadsheet is a Royal pain. Isn't there a Google Contacts CSV export file that more closely approximates the arrangement that TBird WANTS?

According to Help>About Thubderbird the current version is 115. But searches in my browser tells me the latest version is 105.

Am I not searching deep enough?

We cannot get a google account because our landline neither sends nor receives text messages. We are in process of setting up and testing a cell phone, and would like to load Firefox for Android as the browser. We cannot download from google play because google demands to send a text-message "verification" code. We note, thankfully, that Mozilla does not (stupidly) do likewise to set up a Firefox account.

Anyone know if there is a way to import Google Chrome extensions into Firefox. I am moving over and want to make it easy. When I search all I get is bookmarks which I know how to do.

My job requires me to download and open files in new tabs consistently. However, when I download these files, I don't want the download panel to obscure my vision. Can I disable it?

I am trying to import mails from Microsoft Outlook 2013 into Mozilla Thunderbird 102.3.2 (64-bit), but I get the error: No Profile found, see the attachment. I have set Microsoft Outlook as my Default mail app in Windows 10, my OS. But it didn't help. H.C. Enevoldsen hc@pushkin.dk

I would like to save my Firefox profile data into my computer as I would like to transfer the data to a different computer. Is there any solution to how to save it down?

I had a functioning thunderbird, but do to my host provider I had to change some of the configuration (had (owl) suffix). This left 2 profiles. The new profile wouldn't work until I deleted the original. I did a save so I have all the files, now which ones need to be restored. ( a full file backup prior to adding new profile so all org profile files are available)

A profile directory displays all of the folders, 2 files for each folder a MSF and an MBX. Some also have a file type of File.

Which has to be copied, will the folders be created with the copy or do I need to create them in thunderbird first ?

So as someon who wants to distribute Firefox on different PC's , I want to know: Are there any direct download links for the latest version? The best would be some links like Webex has for distribution (e.g. https://mozilla.org/firefox/windows/FirefoxInstaller.exe)

I got a new computer so I created an acct and set all my open tabs and history to sync. It wasn't intuitive to my not techie brain, but found out how to open all the tabs on the new computer. However, they don't open in the same order (makes it almost useless when you have a lot of tabs), and the tabs don't have their associated history.

Is there some way to have Firefox open tabs and history in the same state on the new device?

Since I have problems with version 115 (ImportExportTools NG does not work in this version) I am forced to restore version 102. Unfortunately I can't find a way to download this version anymore. A download possibility for older versions would be very helpful. Thanks a lot

Hi, new updates on Version 98.0.1 quite a hassle for me. It auto-download all my files even when I just want to view. Is there any other way to disable this feature? I opened Setting>Download but there is no disable button or checkbox for that. Please help me. Thank you in advance.
