I will not open the following mail when I delete the current. How to do this?

First of all, excuse me for my bad english !!!
When I delete the message that I am reading, the following message is automatically displayed.
I will avoid this.
When I delete an opened message, I will to go back to the list of messages.

I don't find how to do this in the options.

I understand your issue. I suggest you download this Addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/deselect-on-delete/

  • Download to desktop or Downloads file.
  • In Thunderbird, 'Tools' > 'Add-ons' to open 'Add-ons Manager' in a new tab.
  • click on daisy wheel icon and select 'Install Addon from file'
  • locate the downloaded .xpi file and click on 'Open'
