Firefox can't display any web pages
Ok so I recently ran Malwarebytes and it removed about 50 infected files. After my computer restarted, Firefox can't display ANY web pages, not even my homepage. All I get is a blank screen with "New Tab" written on the top. When I click on one of my bookmarks it looks like its loading for about two seconds then nothing. My internet is working fine, I tried restarting Firefox, and my firewall allows Firefox. What the heck is going on? I really don't want to reinstall Firefox so any help would be greatly appreciated! (I am running on Windows 7 by the way)

This happens only in Firefox? Did you try start Firefox in Safe Mode?
Try do other search in your computer: Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Ran Malwarebytes again and it didn't find any more viruses. Tried going into to safe and that didn't work. Also Internet Explorer doesn't work either. Is it something with my computer?
Try start your computer in Safe Mode:
Did you try reset firefox?
It does the same thing in safe mode and after I restart Firefox
No restart, reset Firefox, the reset restore all default settings of Firefox
If no web browsers work, it may be something at the OS level. Windows has a tool named SFC (System File Checker) which you can use to try to repair anything that Malwarebytes might have removed because it was infected. For assistance with getting Windows 7 back on the internet, you could use a forum like one of the following:
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 26: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
if possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.
