When I try to install an Add-on, it loads completely and then says "A few seconds remaining" and never progresses. What should I do to remedy this?

When I try to install an Add-on, it loads completely and then says "A few seconds remaining" and never progresses. My connection and computer are working fine. I have the latest version of Firefox, it is up-to-date. I am getting this Add-on for the mozilla website, what do I need to do differently?

Please update your firefox to latest version firefox 25 and check whether the issue exists or not

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.

Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
