Actually found that Fisheye Tabs addon was causing the issue

Do you have the "Hide Tab Bar With One Tab" extension? as the author has been trying to fix his extension.

Note that the main page of the extension shows the 1.2beta3 version as current, so updating "Hide Tab Bar With One Tab" should fix it.
