hello, close all firefox windows and try to hold the shift-key while you're launching firefox the next time. a dialog window should show up where you can choose to reset the browser.

Did you try to close and restart Firefox?

Try to open a new window via Ctrl+N to see if that helps.

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
