This problem started last night and currently affects all browsers on my laptop . Clicking anywhere on any website opens a new tab with this address http://clkmon.com/adServe/sa?pid=shlemoon&cid=SHXPOP which then redirects me to any number of websites . I popped out for a few hours after doing a bit of shopping with no problems , came back and suddenly started having the trouble . My AV and spybot are not finding the problem . Checked my programs list and found the only thing installed yesterday was a google toolbar for IE , must have been auto updated . Uninstalled it just in case , no solution . System restore has also failed to fix the problem .

Searching online today , I have noticed a number of people are having this problem with various browsers but there are currently no solutions , so any help would be greatly appreciated .
I am currently going through the processes on windows task manager to see if I can find any unwanted ones but I am generally unfamiliar with them so it may take a while .

Also install ad-block / pop-up block programs. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

I have found that in the extensions of the browser there is something called yealt class. When I removed it from Chrome the issue went away. I am having difficulty removing it from IE but this should resolve the issue you mentioned.

I also found in the extensions of the browser yealt class in IE in Windows8. It wouldn't allow me to disable it but more details showed Yealt.dll in c:\windows\SYSWow64\. When I closed IE and deleted this dll the problem was resolved.

I cannot find "Yealt" by searching or looking in c;|windows\SYSWow64\ anywhere on my Windows 7 laptop. I installed ad-block / pop-up block program to no avail. I have run ccCleaner, Maywarebytes, and SuperAntiSpyware free programs but it only temporarily removes threats.

Any suggestions to stop this annoying "Clicking anywhere on any website opening a new tab with this address http://clkmon.com/adServe/sa?pid=shlemoon&cid=SHXPOP which then redirects me to any number of website".
