Ubuntu and a few other Linux distros supply their own version of Firefox via an agreement they have with Mozilla which allows certain 3rd party builds to use the Firefox branding and logos. (Anyone can use the the code to build their own version of Firefox, but most need to come up with their own name, branding, and logos.) Also, some Ubuntu developers help with the development of Firefox and also help with security patches as part of the open source nature of Mozilla.
If they makes changes to the Firefox source code and redistribute that version then they may no longer use the official Firefox logo.
