When an application starts Firefox it starts with a different profile. It is Firefox as if it were just installed, with none of my bookmarks or settings If I start it, either from the shortcut or by going directly to the file in the Firefox folder, it's fine. I tried starting it as admin to see if it was loading a different profile, but that made no difference, it was still fine, with all my bookmarks and tweaks intact. But if a program opens it, it opens as if it were a fresh install. Not a big deal really, not now that I know what it's doing. Really got me the first time though, and it is annoying if I have to close it then and restart to use my bookmarks, etc. I've looked in all the normal places, I can't find another installation. Why would it start with the default profile?
