I need more room for my question about a Firefox message on a bdsvings.com download web page!

On this page:

I clicked Download and the following appeared in a box on the left side while the main part of the page indicated it was downloading.

Firefox Instructions Click the "Allow" button on the top left-hand side of your screen. Then click "Install Now" which will appear towards the middle of your screen. You should see "Coupon savings has successfully been installed".

There was no Firefox 'Allow' button on the page. I waited 15 minutes on this bSaving page to see if the download would complete but it still showed it was running. Im sending this message to bsaving.com also because I've no idea what's going on here. Can you help me? Louise Bell

From the description, it sounds as though the site was going to try to install an extension. If you have never installed an extension from that site before, you normally would get the dialog to allow or ignore the installation. If you allow the installation, a dialog would appear asking whether you want to install it.

But... these dialogs usually appear after the download starts; it might never have started. You might return to the site and try again.

Depending on what security software you are running, it's also possible that the download was blocked because it is considered to be adware (or worse) by your security software. If your security software keeps logs of its actions, you might check that.
