I have many opened tabs. Now I need to clear the cache. If I do this, my opened tabs will be lost or not?

If you value your currently open tabs then you can either right-click the Tab bar and choose "Bookmark All Tabs" to bookmark the currently open tabs or you can create a backup copy of the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox Profile Folder to be able to restore a session in case of problems.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder

If you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the "Browsing History" then you will lose open tabs.
It shouldn't happen under other conditions unless you close a window to quit Firefox via the close X on the tittle bar and had missed that there are other windows still open. You can avoid such an issue by always using the Exit Firefox command in the Firefox or File menu.
