Bell mail program "Outlook" will not forward mail in Firefox, but works in IE;when will this be fixed?
a Bell technician says that this is a known problem, and the fix is to use IE. I assume Micros**t has rigged Outlook to not work in Firefox. Are you going to fix this?
Chosen solution
Hmmm, since it's hosted by Microsoft, I don't think they would try to disable normal features.
Is the problem that the Forward item is missing from the Reply drop-down list, or that it doesn't work correctly?
On my "gear" icon setting menu, I have the option to switch back to the more traditional Hotmail interface. Do you have that option?

Do you have the Outlook program that is part of Microsoft Office, or are you using Outlook.com, the new site for Windows Live Hotmail, or is this a special flavor of Outlook that only Bell uses?
I don't use Microsoft Office.I was using a Bell mail program that appeared to be a MS product and was invited to change to Outlook. My guess is that it is a minimally-modified version of Outlook that shows the Bell logo where the MS site would have a MS logo. I don't see why Bell would modify a MS program to make it not work with Firefox; that sounds more like MS.
When I view my Hotmail in the new Outlook.com interface, both methods of forwarding work for me:
- Viewing Inbox: checkbox + Forward
- Viewing message: Forward
What is the URL of your Outlook site? For example, mine was on https://col002.mail.live.com/.
Mine is https://bay002.mail.live.com/

The forward item is on the menu, but the program does not respond to it nor to the keystrokes it gives as an alternative.
I didn't know what the "gear" icon did, and I didn't know how to switch back. Now you've pointed me in the right direction, and I'll switch as soon as I finish this message. Outlook has too many unwanted frills.
Thank you very much.
