I don't know what is going on with this Firefox but in the past week or so it seems like every time I open it I run into a new problem. This was such a good and fun browser and I think it's just gotten to big for its britches. I think the development crew better back up and try to have things working correctly before they release all these new updates, one right after the other.

Tonight I tried for 30 minutes to open my LastPass vault. The vault would open up but none of the identies would load. I finally got to the LastPass home page and logged in there and the ID's loaded, but when I would click on one of them to sign me into a site it would be just like it was dead.

I tried to go to the LastPass forum and I couldn't get it because it kept telling me I had the wrong password.

I finally opened Google Chrome and it opened right up and loaded without a problem.

I thank you much for your reply. I have bookmarked the two links you gave me into a folder for future reference.

I don't know if this will solve the problem. We will see. The bigger problem is, as I said, lately seems like there is some new kind of problem with Firefox on a daily basis. I have enjoyed this browser so much that I am feeling really upset and frustrated over this. Right now I am using Chrome as my default.

I installed that Pale Moon because it was supposed to be Firefox without all the problems. I can't see one bit of difference between the two. It loads just as slowly, and every problem I've had with Firefox I find, that when I open Pale Moon, I also have the problem there.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that works better.

I have Avast Internet Security 7. Whereas I would have, not so long ago, said nothing but good about that program, I think they have let things get away from themselves too. Seems like the program is getting more invasive all the time, and it seems like updates that really haven't been thoroughly tested are being released and then causing problems. I wonder how long it will take Google Chrome to reach that point too. :)

Well, so much for my morning blog. As I said, LastPass did work with Chrome last night and this morning it's working with Firefox again. So once again, thank you for your time!

I ran into similar issues while using LastPass. I have since switched to MySocialCloud for my username and password management and no longer have any such issues. Not only that, but I find the user interface to be much better! You should check it out...hope it helps!

Thank you SocialDan for your response. I feel certain that the problem I had with LastPass was directly related to Firefox (and Pale Moon). When it was acting up it was doing so in both of these browsers and worked fine in Google Chrome.

Maybe at some point this will change, but I just don't trust "the cloud." I may be missing out on a good thing, but that's the way I feel right now. I still appreciate the input, and I actually did Google MySocialCloud to check it out.
