in older firefox version there was this option that when you exit browser with more than one bookmark opened it asked you if you would like firefox to remember those bookmarks. And when you opened later firefox the main page was changing to about:sessionrestore. Is there any chance to have it on ver.15 ?

In Firefox 15, you can restore your previous session from the History menu.

History > Restore Previous Session

You do not need to do anything special to have this option, but if you aggressively clear all history when closing Firefox, then you might remove the files necessary for Firefox to do it.

Session restore keeps track of open tabs and windows, without any particular attention to which pages were bookmarked and which were not. If you recall a feature that was specific to bookmarks, perhaps that was added by an add-on. ???

You would only get the about:sessionrestore if Firefox hasn't closed properly or had crashed.

With a normal close you would only get the pages from the previous sessions with this correct startup setting:

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: When Firefox Starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time
