Hi,

In the attach files mini-window you could try to press and hold Ctrl or Shift on the keyboard to select multiple files. You can also click the down-arrow to set multi-attach mini-window as the default. For the Classic Mail attachment, please see this.

To press and hold Ctrl or Shift on the keyboard to select multiple files, both not working. To click the down-arrow to set multi-attach mini-window as the default is not working. For the Classic Mail attachment, I did mention that I have newest version which is not a Yahoo Classic. I need this function daily many time because of work. If this problem can't be re-solved, I must go back to use IE9 which working with this, altought have many other types problem.

Please note that you may have to wait for the page to fully load in the background for all the elements to be fully functional. If the problem persists, you can also try to Reset Firefox feature via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information.

(To revert to the previous profile you were using, close the new profile (i.e. exit Firefox), start Firefox and choose the Default User profile. While the Profile Manager is open, you can also delete the newly reset profile (the one containing random numbers), or the former profile, as the case may be). If the reset is okay, it would be a good idea to delete the old profile as otherwise it would be left intact with the previous data/cache until deleted.

It's working with Hotmail and Gmail by press and hold Ctrl on the keyboard to select multiple files. This is a shame, because Firefox is the best browser for Yahoo mail!!!!!!!

You can try to check for and update/install Flash Player: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Update/Install Flash

Installing

Please note that you need the Firefox specific version. After downloading, exit Firefox, install the Flash Player and verify the installation.

It is quite possible that Yahoo only supports that feature for IE and not for other browsers like Firefox.

Did it ever work before in Firefox?

Some websites like Hotmail use the Silverlight plugin to upload multiple files.

What does Flash Player has to do with this? Or is it, because it repeatedly complaining that new plug-in should be installed so that media files of the page are able to work perfectly. It searching of missing plug-ins and find Flash Player 11.3.300.271, but automatic installation is failed and it suggest manual installation, which lead to Flash Player's webpage. It detect my computer correctly and offer me Firefox version.

I knew, that's needed. But I work as freelancer engineer on my specialty brach. I don't have a company, domain etc. I'm using free email suppliers and Yahoo was choosen, because it has the best search function which is essential issue (e.g. Hotmail is out of question because of this), I've over 1.700 forlders (Customers), each folder include a.g. 5 emails with the vital attachments. So, it's not so easy to move them to another email system. I don't afford to lose anything and my computer must working perfectly every day.

So, now you understand that I'm unwilling to just "try if things". I've a need to attach 5-15 files on each email for several times daily. When I don't have multi-select files option, each day should be longer than 24 hours and Customers are angry. The fact is that I need to use Yahoo, Firefox was changed because a lot of problems with the IE9. But if I don't get Firefox working properly, I must go back to IE9. The risk is that when install something for the Firefox, what happen for the IE9.

I've use IE versions and Yahoo Classic since 2008 if I remember right. Then about at the beginning of Jan 2011 Yahoo was launching their new version, but it was Yahoo beta and I never install any beta versions, unwilling to be trial user. Then about a year ago when login to Yahoo it wasn't possible. There was two options, either not login or install new Yahoo, Within couple of days I notice that Yahoo was failed with their newest version, and badly. Slow (please wait.....please wait), unstable etc.

I've always use only IE versions and Yahoo, and multi-select files has always work properly. Until got enough with those number of IE9 problems and change to the Firefox. Actually to change Firefox, it was Yahoo support's suggestion when I complain for them. I've contact to Yahoo support because of this actual problem and their answer was that Yahoo support Firefox and that can't be the problem and suggest me to contact Firefox support.

Like this it's always, when complain of problems, email operators blame browser suppliers and opposite.

I will install that Flash Player for Firefox if somebody knows that I can go back to IE9 with a little effort.
