Freezes while using salesforce

I was using Firefox on my work laptop until it started freezing while using salesforce.com. It seems to have started around the time v13 came out but i can't say for certain. I've attempted to remedy it by disabling all plugins but that did not help.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here (this will log you out)

Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?

Thanks for the suggestion. However I've gone as far as uninstall, delete all saved data, and reinstall. I suppose it must have something to do with my machine but I'm stuck on what that might be. Are there any tools you are aware of to troubleshoot?

Hi Steve, I haven't seen a lot of posts about Salesforce.com here, so I don't know if there are any specific things to look out for. Does the site work well in IE?
