What is the cause and fix for jerky playing of video in full screen within Youtube using Firefox 12?

The problem occurs in YouTube full screen mode, playback in the other 2 modes are OK.

Try to "Disable the hardware acceleration" in the Flash Player.

Cor-el: Thanks for the info provided - which I used inorder of: Loading latest vn of Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 then disabled hardware accelerator BUT no joy. So updated the display driver using Vista Device Manager. Without enabling hardware accelerator the jerky playback within fullscreen [ original problem] is now fixed.
