Whenever I go to open Firefox it completely locks up my computer. Ctrl Alt Delete doesn't work, Alt F4 doesn't work, and Alt Tab doesn't work. I then start losing control of my mouse and it locks up more and more. Firefox never opens and I have to power down by holding the power button. I've never had this problem EVER in the many many years I've been using it.

Hey sirhexan,

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Firefox won't start Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.

Hopefully this helps!
