Every time I open, all my previous tabs come up. I can not stop this and the place to check doesn't allow it. How do I stop them, it is annoying.

I start a session and all the previous tabs come up, like I want to restore, but I don't want to restore. I tried deleting history, etc--didn't work- they still came up-tried the setting in tools-options nothing changed

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
