When I start to upgrade to V 8.01, I get a warning that my Microsoft.NET Framework Assistant 1.2.1 is incompatible. What's up?
I'd like to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox. But I get this warning when I start the process. It goes on to say that the "Add-on" will be disabled. I'm worried about disabling that. Perhaps I need that. Yet, I've already run into a site that won't work until I do upgrade to the latest version. So, what should I do? What would be the impact if it did disable Microsoft.NET Framework Assistant 1.2.1? When will there be compatibility with it.

Firefox 8 handles 3rd-party Add-ons differently and you can re-enable it:
